Our Mission
Our mission at Saint Mary School is to grow in Catholic tradition by proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel through a faith-filled education. In partnership with our community, we are fostered as lifelong learners through spiritual growth, academic excellence, and to serve others with compassion, courage, and responsibility through Jesus Christ.
Philosophy
Saint Mary School administration and faculty, in cooperation with parents, teach the basic truths, traditions, morals, and values of our Roman Catholic faith. Rooted in the charism of the Sisters of Mercy, Saint Mary School continues its legacy of educating students to serve with compassion and responsibility in a global community. We offer a broad-based curriculum, where faith and culture are intertwined in all areas of school life.
We work to foster the development of each child spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially and physically by building confidence, encouraging reliance, teaching responsibility and the desire to learn, while modeling Gospel values and providing opportunities for prayer and service. We adapt to the different learning styles of each student by providing opportunities for observation, exploration, problem solving, cooperation and application. We strive to provide our students with the skills necessary to be leaders in the future life of our Church, our country and our global community.
