“Prayer is the inner bath of love into which the soul plunges itself.” –St. John Vianney

Come on Thursdays this Lent for a practical, information, and engaging series on prayer. Over the course of these three nights, we will dive into the Church’s tradition on prayer in an effort to grow closer to the Lord in a new way this Lent. All ages are welcome to come to any of the nights, even if you can’t attend them all. Each night will include a talk and a practical time of prayer in the Church.

The dates and topics for this school of prayer are:

Why and How to Pray: An Introduction to the Church’s Tradition of Prayer - March 14

Growing in Intimacy with God - March 21

Movement in the Interior Life - April 4

No registration is necessary, and all are welcome. No matter where you are in your spiritual life, please join us for this Lenten series and together we as a parish family will have the chance to grow in our relationship with God in entirely new ways!

These serve as the most appropriate sources of information regarding the practical and spiritual posture of our local and national Church.

May your faith in Jesus Christ remain firm in this difficult time.  We need the Life and Love of God to imbue our world very deeply.   I encourage you to deepen your disposition of prayer for the many needs which are so evident in our world today.
